1st Summer Adventure - Utah & Big Island

Well Tali & I took a short little trip up to Utah to use some airline tickets that were going to expire.

Tali was so excited! She always is when it comes to riding an airplane. As soon as she sat down she checked out the radio stations!!

It was such a cool mother daughter bonding activity because I haven't been alone with Tali since before Momo was born.

We were lucky enough to attend her cousin's 1st bday party at CHUCK E CHEESE!!! Wow Talitha would much rather live there than at our house!

If you were standing near her and she grabbed your hand you were pretty much her BFF

This is her baby cousin Jack who was like the perfect child his entire party! Always happy, always excited, always smiling

These are the cousins a together...some of them :)

We were also fortunate to meet a new cousin that was just 2 weeks old....baby Gizelle....she my oldest brother Crichton's daughter.

Tali loved seeing her, holding her & talking to her. I'm so glad Tali is so good with babies:) Momo was still in Hawaii with my brother Justin and wasn't jealous one bit because she went beach everyday!!!

The day before we left Tali got her 1st haircut...by her Aunty Mata. So my brother Travis' wife goes to beauty school and we are so lucky she has mad skills...even I got a trim :)

So we landed Tuesday morning & I went straight to work & worked all Wednesday too. But it paid off because Thursday morning we went on a mini family vacation with all 4 of us!!

My parents let us use their timeshare in Kona which is on the Big Island. We stayed there for 4 days and were happy to say we only ate out once!! There's a full size kitchen, dinning room, and outdoor dinning area so we enjoyed almost every meal together around the table.

There is so much native Hawaiian history there and we loved it and so did the girls. We saw an ancient Hawaiian dwelling that was just magical in every way....and turtles were swimming right next to us!!!

This is one that swam right by my foot. We saw spinner dolphins and went kayaking. The drives, scenery, and beaches were so picturesque...like crazy mad!!

The resort was nice and we also enjoyed the pool, checking out board games, watching movies, and for me...working out everyday!! Yea that's a real vacation!

We spent Sunday there & got to show the girls the Kona temple.

Overall it really brought our family together. Sometimes our schedules run us to the ground with both Tavo & I working, school, callings, etc. I love my family & feel so blessed:)
