Fun Weekend....

This Sunday there was a special regional conference just for the Hawaiian Islands. The actual broadcast was from BYUH's cannon center. Because it was our niece Sarah's birthday, we decided to take advantage of the weekend and spend the night Sunday in Kahuku and attend the conference live on Sunday. It was a lot of fun! Sarah's little birthday party with all the cousins was really cute and the cake was a bubble gum machine. The girls absolutely love playing with their cousins! (Both my brother's wives are pregnant right now so we are just patiently awaiting the day when Tali and Cumorah can have cousins on my side of the family) Kalo is Tavo's oldest girl niece and she is a senior at Kahuku High School. She babysat the girls on Saturday night so Tavo and I could get some much needed rest. We spent the night at Tavo's oldest brother's house on Saturday and left the girls with Kalo at his parent's house. His four kids were so excited to have us over and commenced to share with us every school project they've ever made....in their life! It was fun and Sunday was really uplifting. We ended the day at my parent's house for a quick little Thanksgiving dinner since we will all be unable to gather for Thanksgiving day. The food was great and we ended the night watching "the pump" and then all the home DVDs we ever made....which is actually becoming a Sunday night tradition. It's always nice to reminisce. We actually watched our wedding DVD with the two girls. It was crazy to think that we're coming up on 4 years of being married (2 kids, 7 residences, 3 states later....) Life is good and the girls as always keep us very happy!
