Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we decided to just hang out with the two girls and make some fun arts and crafts. Yes, Tavo and I are not your arts and craftzy type people. But we saw some good ideas and gave it a shot. We were originally going to figure out going to our parent's house but we decided that we'd do Thanksgiving the Sunday before with our families and do Thanksgiving day with our immediate family. Sometimes we feel like we never have time to just stay home and enjoy each other's company because we are always on the go, going to this family thing, or this church thing, or work, or the store.

We decided to do turkey cookies, turkey coloring with glitter, and some foam turkeys. It was a really inexpensive ideas maybe like $10 at the most for everything. We had a lot of fun and so did the girls. We have never tried something like this before but were really happy we got adventurous. We went to the park in the afternoon (right by our house) to grab a quick bite and play som kickball with friends. Then we ended the day taking the girls to the movie "A Christmas Carol." Despite that it was way to scary for them we all had fun! These are our finished products -
