We started packing this weekend and busted butt cleaning and painting our old place yesterday. Only "true friends" showed up to help us...the whole operation went from the morning into the night. Luckily the girls went home with my mom and were sound asleep when we arrived at my parents house around midnight.
Today we literally only had time to checkout of the old place, pick up Tali from school, unload the last of our things out of all three cars, pick up our church clothes and get back on the road to Kahuku.
Tonight Tavo's nephew went to the temple in preparation for his mission. It was also our first time back since the re-opening. It was such a peaceful feeling after a lot of hectic-ness. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day. One of our life-long dreams came true and the same night we were able to spend time in the most important house. I feel so blessed and thankful.
